Loading, please be patient...
to the smol world of Zynskey Folf (aka. Trancwolve (fka. Steve Pixus)), your average self-taught musicc producer and terminally online Arch user from Hungary.
This website thing is meant to be my official hub for all the various stuff I do.

...or any messaging function of the sites linked on the Links page.
Note: You can find my musicc in most major stores, but I'm not linking those here because there are too many and I don't directly manage them.
I mostly do trance and related styles, preferably with the "classic" prefix, even though I have made some exceptions. Weapon of choice is usually LMMS with a very few external plugins.
Trancwolve is my main alias for trance and the like, while Steve Pixus is the old one now reserved for things not fitting for main. You may also come across some occasional made-up aliases associated with me, those all have their own little backstories X3
All of my releases (and some remixes and collabs) are available for download in lossless quality. Sources can be found on the Links page.
You are free to include any of my solo tracks in your own content of any kind without my explicit permission as long as you credit me in some reasonable way. A simple "Artist - Title" line is fine, but linking the source is always appreciated.
The above applies to solo releases only and does NOT apply to remixes and collabs uploaded under my profiles. In that case please ask me/us first.
Reuploading/redistributing the tracks by themselves (remixed or not) or using parts of them (including but not limited to midi data and instrument presets) in your derivative works without my explicit permission is prohibited unless a license permitting said activities is explicitly indicated by the official upload of the track.
You are NOT allowed to use any content containing parts or the entirety of my music to train AI models or upload it to sites that do so in some way. Like, ever.
Available audio format on different platforms:
If you need the original masters for whatever reason, just hit me up :>
Arduino firmware for outputting low-res color video, controllable via the serial interface.
C++ lib for controlling Conrad relay boards.
A few simple audio plugins because I'm lazy to look for existing ones.
Very dumb JS implementation of that one Bri'ish game for school demonstration purposes.
Scripts for automatically generating cover images and musicc visualizers from SVG templates and audio metadata.
Simple gui for controlling monitor settings through DDC/CI.
My journey started around 2013 with my first experiments in recording DJ mixes with Atomix VirtualDJ 7 (yikes) and eventually making my own tracks in LMMS 0.4.x (more yikes), initially on Windows, then later on Linux after realizing how much better its audio ecosystem was. At the time I had only one YouTube channel, the one that now hosts my Hungarian videos. Don't look for any content from this era, I deleted all of it, bwuhahaha X3
The part that is worth writing about starts with my first album, Dark Matters. Released as DJ Pixus in 2020, it was a compilation of my least embarrassing early works. This album is no longer available in any official form, but it was mostly experimental house-like tracks. This release was the catalyser for creating my first Soundcloud account. Shortly after that, I changed the name to Steve Pixus because I wasn't DJing anymore.
For a year or two, I released several tracks credited as Steve Pixus, some in the old experimental house style, some trance and some other random things. It was about the time when I migrated all my musicc to a dedicated musicc channel (thus confidently zeroing out all the stats), while the old channel was kept for miscellaneous content, at the time only in Hungarian. This was most probably when I created my Bandcamp page too, as well as Audius a bit later.
After realizing that having ridiculously different tracks under the same name is confusing, I created the Trancwolve alias in 2021. This is when my second (and main) Soundclound account was made. The exact meaning of this name depends on your mindset, but it's somewhere between "to transform and evolve" and "a wolfy who makes trance :3" so could y'all pls just stop coming up with new misspelled variations thanks. Since then, I use it as my primary alias for trance and the like, and Steve Pixus for "the rest".
Preceded with some procastination and teasing, I finally released Tranc Musicc in 2022, which is a collection of trance tracks from the aforementioned era. So now you know why the credits of those tracks are so confusing. The title also has it's own story; in fact it was originally just a placeholder text on the cover art, but people liked it for some reason so it became the actual title. It's safe to say that Your enormous amount of love and support was my primary motivation to finally finish the album, so I felt it right to release it under a CC license, along with the full artwork set, making it possible for anyone to make their own copy at home.
After a smol break I continued making new tracks with a slightly reduced momentum, this time going for slightly more tame vibes (this doesn't mean no more hard bangers though). A few incidental new aliases were also created.
I started doing occasional Twitch streams and created a new YouTube channel for occasional tutorials and random low-effort videos in English so that everyone can consume my brain-destroying thoughts now.
In the meantime I also made a Discord server to make a place for All Of Us to gather and talk about mostly musicc but actually literally anything (not going into details here, cough cough).
2024 brought another small fuzzbuzz with Tranc Musicc 2024 Remaster, which is an imporved(?) rework of the album, utilizing a shiftload of technical experience I picked up since the original release. One added bonus of this album is that it's cleanly split into two halves so that you can record it onto a 2x30-minute tape.
I also started distributing my musicc to some major streaming platforms too in order to hopefully get a bit wider reach.
Over all these years I met a metric ton of great people (even worked with some), and the best way I could find to express my gratitude was to make... can you guess? yeah... yet another album, dedicated to them. This time "dedicated" in every meaning of the word, since I actually hit up a local disc manufacturing company and made a limited series of 25 physical copies. The album was titled Euphoriae, based on a random idea of a very special person who was just a nice friend at that time, but. :3
The discs were (or maybe still are?) available for purchase on Bandcamp, although the first few were gifted to people who accepted it. Each one of them is numbered and contains my signature on the inside, some with a personalised message. Of course, just like my previous album, it's also permissively licensed and is ready to be home-made. I honestly didn't think anyone would actually pay for the official copies, but the fact that so many of you did keeps me motivated to keep doing what I do.
Thanks for your continued support and for reading all of this X3
